Hi, guys. Here's the personal survey.
PERSONAL SURVEY:
Answer the following questions honestly and insightfully about yourself; type this on a separate piece of paper:
1. When you are with a group of friends, do you prefer to be with a large, boisterous crowd or a small, more intimate group?
2. Do you prefer English classes that are large (30 or more) or the smaller, class size reduced ones of about 15 to 20?
3. If you had a choice, would you prefer AP English to be held as it is (5 days a week with the same group of 30) of a different set up of two to three meetings a week of the whole AP group in a lecture setting, with a small group meeting once a week of two hours or more (like a lab with 20- 25 students and one teacher)?
4. Do you hang out with the same group each day at lunch?
5. How many people are in this group?
6. When you plan or go to a party, do you like large, open ones or small, more personal ones?
7. Have your friends changed much since middle school or do you primarily hang with the same group since 8th grade?
** Looking at the above, what insights into your personality and comfort zone can you come up with?
8. What subjects have you liked best in high school?
9. Is this because of the teacher or the subject material?
10. Have you ever developed a close relationship with a teacher? Why/why not? How did this add to your educational experience?
11. What kind of reading material do you seem to favor in your spare time?
12. What subjects have generated your best grades?
13. What subject do you usually do first when you do homework?
14. What major(s) or interests will you list on your college application?
15. What minor(s) or secondary interests?
16. What career do your parents have in mind for you?
17. Does this match your own preferences?
18. If these are different, how will you resolve this?

22. How much do you rely on your parents? For motivation, for getting up in the morning, for fixing meals, for providing everything that gets you through the day and night? Have you ever been away from home on your own for a long period of time? How did that feel to you? Can you do your wash – do you know how to do laundry? Do you know your own clothes’ sizes?
